Budget Plan for a New Fixer-upper
Below is a sample (and quite simple) capacity/budget plan for a $300k renovation. The client wanted a swimming pool and home theater to really increase the value of the property. But because there is a lot of foundation work needed, that might fall outside of the budget.
With this clear and crisp prioritization you can visualize what items are above and below the (budget) line. You can now work backwards from the budget, with the client, to determine if there’s room to drop any other work or pick-up different work that can fit their constraints.
